Visiting Franco’s Ices in Kempston

Earlier this month, Richard visited the Franco’s Ices factory – a family-run business which has been manufacturing and selling ice creams and lollies locally since the 1960s. In 1995, the factory moved to state of the art premises on the Woburn Industrial Estate in Kempston and has since grown to supply ice cream vans, wholesalers, restaurants and cafes nationwide.
On the day Richard visited, the line was producing the award winning Mr Bubble ice lolly, which filled the air with a very delicious scent of bubble-gum.
